Job Title: Marketing Manager
Job Description: We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the College’s brand identity and creating a marketing strategy that ensures coherence and consistency across our academic programs and services.
You will develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance the College’s visibility, attract prospective students, and promote our programs and services. You will lead the development and delivery of engaging, highly targeted marketing campaigns and related content to drive student recruitment and deliver return on investment.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong networking and relationship-building skills who can develop long-term marketing strategies that align with the College’s goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will be able to create and deliver a strong brand identity and positioning for the College across multiple healthcare markets.
Essential Skills & Experience:
• At least three years of experience in a marketing role within a UK higher education environment.
• Experience in strategic marketing, including the development and delivery of brand identity across a portfolio of academic programs and services.
• Ability to analyse marketing data, customer engagement, and feedback to inform the development of marketing strategies and activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, techniques, and systems (SEO, SEM strategies, CMS, and WordPress).
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
• A commitment to understanding the nature of our academic programs and their relevance to the healthcare sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop a strong brand identity for the College in collaboration with colleagues across the institution.
2. Create a marketing strategy and delivery plan that ensures coherence and brand identity across our academic programs and services.
3. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns.
4. Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, and website content.
5. Analyse marketing data and student feedback to develop insights and inform marketing strategies and operations.
6. Collaborate with the admissions team to support student recruitment initiatives.
7. Create engaging content for various marketing channels.
8. Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of marketing activities and adjust strategies as needed.
9. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Contract Type: Permanent, employed.
Location: York (Hybrid).
Hours: Part-time (0.8 FTE). Weekend work required for introduction days and conferences.
Salary: Grade 6: £36,924 - £39,105 (pro-rata).
Reports to: The Principal & CEO.
Start Date: February 2025 or earlier.
