Our BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture has been running since 2008. It is fully accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board (BAAB) and validated by the Health Sciences University. About the role:
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and detail-focused Course Administrator to support the smooth running of our BSc (Hons) Acupuncture programme.
This is a pivotal role within our Administration team. You will help ensure that academic processes run efficiently, deadlines are met, and documentation is accurate and compliant. Your work will directly support students and the staff team, forming the backbone of a high-quality student experience.
You will be the kind of person who enjoys bringing order to complexity, spotting inconsistencies, and quietly making sure things run as they should.
Role details:
Location: York (with some flexibility for hybrid working where appropriate)
Hours: 21–28 hours per week (0.6–0.8 FTE)
Working pattern: Includes Monday working and very occasional weekend support (e.g. graduation ceremony)
Salary: Spinal Point 14: (21 hours) £18,083.52 – £24,111.36 (28 hours) (full-time equivalent £30,139.20)
Reporting to: Registry & Student Services Manager

As Course Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective and compliant administration of the BSc Acupuncture programme. Your work will span academic processes, data management, and student support systems.
